1. Agreement and eligibility
By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using Verbia, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you use Verbia for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. A minor may use Verbia only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
2. What Verbia provides
Verbia is a browser-based writing assistant. When you ask it to generate a reply, it processes the intent, settings, and relevant visible context you provide and returns an AI-generated draft. Verbia does not send or publish messages for you. You remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use every draft.
Features, supported websites, model providers, quotas, and availability may change as the service develops. We may provide experimental or beta features that can be modified or discontinued.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of your information, and activity performed through your session. Keep access to your email and sign-in method secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. One person or organization may not create or coordinate accounts to evade quotas, trials, restrictions, or payment obligations.
4. Your content and AI processing
You retain your rights in the text, context, instructions, and other material you submit. You give Verbia a limited, worldwide right to process that material only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. This includes sending the material to contracted AI infrastructure providers to generate the requested draft.
You must have the right to submit the material. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information unless you are authorized to do so and accept that it must be processed to fulfill your request. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or similar to content produced for others. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Verbia to break the law; violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights; deceive, impersonate, harass, exploit, or harm people; distribute malware or spam; generate sexual content involving minors; facilitate violence or wrongdoing; bypass safeguards, access controls, quotas, or rate limits; probe or disrupt the service; resell access without permission; or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the service.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, payment disputes, or material violations of these terms.
6. Free and paid plans
The Free plan currently includes a daily generation allowance. Verbia Premium currently includes up to 100 generations per day and is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. A “generation” is a request processed by the service, including a request that produces a draft; retries caused solely by a confirmed service failure may be excluded at our discretion. Daily allowances reset according to the service’s stated reset schedule and do not roll over.
Current prices and plan details appear before checkout. Taxes and the final amount may depend on your location and are shown at checkout. We may change future prices or plan features. A price change for an existing subscription will be handled with the notice or consent required by applicable law and the checkout provider’s terms.
7. Payments, renewals, and Waffo
Waffo.com Limited (“Waffo”) is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for paid Verbia subscriptions. Waffo processes payment, calculates and remits applicable transaction taxes, provides receipts and invoices, and administers payment disputes and refunds. Your purchase is also governed by Waffo’s Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until canceled. To avoid the next charge, cancel through the Waffo Buyer Portal at least 48 hours before the renewal date. The portal link is included in your Waffo order email. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Payments, including renewals and unused portions of a billing period, are generally non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.
Premium access is linked to the Verbia account that initiated authenticated checkout. The payment email entered at Waffo checkout is used for billing and receipts; changing it does not transfer Premium access to a different Verbia account.
8. Intellectual property
Verbia, its software, design, branding, documentation, and service technology belong to Verbia or its licensors. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative products from Verbia except where applicable law expressly permits it.
9. Third-party services and websites
Verbia interacts with websites and services we do not control and relies on providers for authentication, hosting, AI processing, and payment. Their terms and availability may affect Verbia. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any website where you use a Verbia draft.
10. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to provide a reliable service, but Verbia is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that a draft will be correct, suitable, unique, or accepted by a third-party platform.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verbia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid for Verbia during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
12. Ending use of Verbia
You may stop using Verbia at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Deleting the extension or your Verbia account does not itself cancel an active Waffo subscription; cancel the subscription separately through the Waffo Buyer Portal. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits, will continue to apply.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required by law.
